Terms of Use

1. Agreement
These terms apply between you and Théo Belnou, trading as Ikigai Production, Valencia, Spain ("we"), for your use of the Passtally app. The Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If the two conflict, these terms prevail where the law allows.
2. What the app does
Passtally calculates days spent in the Schengen area under the 90/180-day rule, based on the information you enter or confirm and, if you enable it, on automatic location detection. The rule version and its sources are shown in the app. Rules, membership dates and exceptions can change; bilateral agreements, special nationality rules and EU free-movement rights are not modelled.
3. Your responsibility
- Results are only as accurate as the data recorded. Check your stays, especially days marked as detected or uncertain, and keep your own proof of travel (passport stamps, tickets).
- Do not rely on Passtally as your only source before travelling. When in doubt, contact the relevant embassy or authority.
- Automatic tracking depends on your device, iOS and network conditions and can miss or misplace days.
4. Free and Pro features
Manual history, the calendar, the 90/180 counter and CSV export are free. Pro features (trip planner, automatic tracking, alerts, PDF reports, multi-year history, CSV import) require a subscription or a lifetime purchase. If a subscription ends, you keep access to your data and to the free features, including export.
5. Subscriptions and purchases
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you purchase a subscription. At the end of the trial the subscription starts and is charged unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions.
- The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment that unlocks the Pro features available on your device. It does not include future paid services that would need servers or human review, if any are ever offered.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies (reportaproblem.apple.com). Prices may change; changes never affect a period already paid.
6. Acceptable use
Use the app lawfully and for your own travel records. Do not reverse engineer it except where the law permits.
7. Liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made by authorities, refused entry, overstay penalties, fines or indirect losses resulting from use of the app or from inaccurate data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Changes and termination
We may update the app and these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it; your on-device data is then removed.
9. Law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts.
