Please never send your passport or personal documents. To report a counting issue, a CSV export of your trips (Settings › Export) is the most useful thing to attach.
Frequently asked questions
How is the 90/180 rule counted?
For any day, Passtally looks at the 180 days ending on that day. You may be in the Schengen area at most 90 of them. Entry and exit days both count, and a day in two countries counts once. Tap the counter on the Today screen to see exactly which days are counted.
Why are some days marked "to confirm"?
Automatic detection near a border, or with an approximate location, is not certain. Those days are counted to stay on the safe side, but flagged until you confirm or correct them from the calendar or the Trips screen.
Automatic tracking is not recording anything
Check Settings › Automatic tracking: location access must be set to "Always" and Precise Location should be on. Updates arrive when you move significantly, so a day without travel may show no new update. If nothing arrives for 26 hours, the app notifies you.
I hold a residence permit or a long-stay visa
Add it in Settings › Residence permits & long-stay visas. Days spent in the country that issued it are then not counted. Days in other Schengen countries still count.
How do I restore my purchase on a new iPhone?
Open the paywall or Settings and tap "Restore purchases", signed in with the same Apple ID.
How do I cancel my subscription?
In iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Passtally. You keep your data and the free features, including export.
How do I move my data to a new phone?
Your data is included in your iPhone backup (iCloud or computer). You can also export your trips as CSV in Settings › Export and import them on the new phone.
How do I delete my data?
Settings › Delete all data erases everything from your iPhone immediately. Deleting the app does the same. We hold no copy of your trips.
